Three Brazilian Soldiers

(look at the phone haha)

Robert Gates briefed the President the other day. He told Bush that three Brazilian soldiers were killed in Iraq. To everyone's amazement, all of the color run from Bush's face, then he collapsed onto his desk, head in hands, visibly shaken, almost whimpering. Finally, he composed himself and asked Gates, "Just exactly how many is a brazillion?"

Yup yup, and somebody like THAT is leading the world ... at least it made me feel better about myself LOL

Summer Time

I can't believe my 18th Birthday is already in about 3 days! I don't know where the time went, it goes by so fast lately. Summer is almost over, too. School starts in 1 1/2 weeks and I feel like I haven't been doing anything so far! Really weird!

But at least Eric and Ruben will be coming back to Stendal on monday *yay* They stayed at Rubens for quite a while. Ruben doesn't live in town. He lives ca. 30 km away in a town called Bismark ... so I haven't seen them for a while It's weird, I really miss those guys ... not being with them is weird, because usually we spend all our freetime together (which hasn't been a lot lately). I also figured, the fact that most of my guy friends are gays makes it sooooo much easier and so much more fun. You guys have no idea! Everyone should have at least one gay friend, no kidding!

Although I haven't seen (most of) my friends as much as I though I would was everytime we got together a blast! I thought I'd add some pics, so here you go! (The last one is a video of a bird called Hansi, which Doreen took care of ... pretty silly that bird haha)

Summer Fun

So yeah, give me some feedback on what I am doing, okay? Guestbook, comments etc ... you know. That'd be really nice + sweet

Love you & Miss you all!

Rolandfest

So Rolandfest, that's a festival type of thing we have every year. It goes from friday till saturday. Me and my friends went friday (06/29/2007) and saturday (06/30/2007).

We also went to Burger King on friday. How I hate BK, the food just sucks! I mean, I was gonna go to McDonalds right away, but NO, boys never listen to a girl, because they know everything better! Yeah, right ... So we went to BK first ... We endet up at McDonalds by the way .... I told them!!!

Anyways, stuff you can do at that festival thing is meeting tons of people, listen to bands, buy cool things ... they also have some small rollercoasters as well. It's great! (And of course there is a lot of alcohol, too. Oh well, there is nothing I could do about it.)

Pictures!!!

Rolandfest

Yeah, I am not really in the mood to say much or tell you more. Just enjoy the pics, ttyl

Love ya all!!! ♥

Explanation:

So people asked me why I keep my school notes from so far back. That's easy: we (German students) have to. Everyone does and actually teachers tell us to. We need them to look stuff up in the upper classes, because most of the time teachers don't go over stuff again that we learned in 8th grade or so. But often times we need it and they just expect us to know and remember all that - untill 12th grade! So if you don't remember (and that's how it is most of the time), you are supposed to look it up by yourself ... in YOUR notes. lol
And when we have these big tests
to proof we "earned and deserve" our diploma and things like at the end of our Senior year, we need these notes to study. If we don't have them anymore at this point, we could basically hang ourselfs ... because then we would pretty much fail the tests! So we wouldn't get a diploma or anything, 12 years of school for nothing. We wouldn't be able to go to college or anything. That would suck big times! So that's why Germans (and other Europeans) keep their school notes from 7th or 8th grade on. Makes sense, doesn't it??? lol

If there are still questions, ask!

Things ...

I also added some pictures (3) to the album of my room (06/23/2007). It's nothing special ... just my bed. yup yup

So, to my day now aka the "negative things" about school. Today I had an appointment for the books I need next school year. I had to be there between 10:30 and 12:30 am. So I went there. But the people/teachers in room A306 just send me away! They told me they don't have time and I would have to come back on Thursday. They were so unfriendly! They really seemed to hate their job. I mean, I should be able to turn in my forms and pay the money, right?! (I have to pay 3 Euro per book to borrow them, altogether it's 24 Euro. I am buying my French book though (17 Euro) and we have to buy some workbooks - another 25 Euro ... a lot of money! )

What a waste of time to go there today. I mean, it took me 10 minutes to bike there. I was there for the maximum of 10 minutes, and then it took me 15 minutes (it was very windy) to get back home. And it was raining all the time. People in my school aren't able to do the easiest things right! They are so unprofessional. Seriously, sometimes I just hate to live here. It just sucks. I was soooo mad. And I still am a little bit. But there are worse things in the world I guess.

After I was home for an hour the first good thing today happened: I got Trevors letter in the mail!!! That made me really, really, really happy! I am not gonna lie, it's the cutest letter I have ever gotten (from a boy).

I also updated/changed my MySpace today: new layout, new default picture etc. If you are interested you can check it out. I have the link to my site on the right.

I guess that was it for now.

Talk to you guys soon, love and miss you.

Hey You!!!

First of all, I changed the layout like you can tell. Now it's easier to watch the videos I put on here. And it's worth it, because I am gonna put quite a few on here I think. The layout I had before wasn't good for things like that, it simply was to small.

So here are the pictures of my room. They are a little bit dark at one point, my room isn't that dark at all! I don't know why, but the wallpaper looks kinda greyish ... it's actually a pretty green. And I just realized I have no good picture of my bed and the dreamcatcher above it. *lol* If I feel like it I am gonna add one. Actually, I am gonna add a few more pictures. I'll let you know then.

But for now, enjoy the pictures!!! And yeah I know, the blue carpet is just awful ...

My Room

For the "outdoor pics": although it kinda looks like it, NO I don't live in a "Ghetto". *haha*

Love & Miss you all!!!

Local Heroes

On Friday, June 15th was this Concert called "Local Heroes" here in Stendal. Bands from Stendal and surrounding area are playing there every year. It's free, so a lot of people are going and to be honest, that's one of my personal Highlights in the summer!!! I was sooo excited when Doreen and Sabrina told me that it was that friday!!!

The weather was warm and sunny all week ... except on friday! I couldn't believe it. It was pouring all morning and noon. It was cold, and of course was everything wet, too. The concert was gonna start at 18:30ish or 6:30ish pm, but it eventually stopped raining. *yay* So all of us met at my school (except Eric and Ruben, they were gonna come later).

"Local Heroes" started and everything was fine. I met people I hadn't seen in 10 months ... and I even met people I hadn't seen in 2 years I believe. It was awesome. I had soooooo much fun. But then, after the 2nd band was done, guess what happened! Yes, right, it started raining again!!!! It was pouring like in the Rain Forest, it was worse than before. We and our clothes were really, really wet after 2 minutes. The last time I was that wet, was last summer, when Eric and Ruben threw me - with all my clothes on - into that pool. No kidding. It was possible to wring out the clothes we had on. And it did NOT stop to rain. Nobody had thought about bringing an umbrella, but I guess it woulda been useless anyways ...what a great day! We eventually decided to leave and go home, to get some dry clothes. It was so cold.

So we endet up seeing 2 1/2 band out of 6 I believe ... it was so disappointing. I was looking forward to it all week and then THAT!!! .... Oh well ... I have Pictures!!! tehee

Local Heroes

So, that's how wet we were *lol* Eric and Ruben never showed up by the way ... well, understandable. I wouldn't have either. *haha* But on my way home I stopped at Erics and gave him a big hug. *muwahaha* He wasn't to happy about it, but I found it hilarious!!! *lol* yup yup

Oh +@!*, now I forgot to upload the pics with my room and cats and stuff on it ... Sorry, I'll do that tonight or tomorrow, I promises. But I have to go now

Ciao
